Happy Weekend everyone! I’ve been having a lovely one so far, Cathal and I took a little roadtrip upstate to Cold Springs yesterday and it was just what I needed. It’s a beautiful riverside town about two hours north of Manhattan that has really cute stores and restaurants, couldn’t recommend it more if you’re looking for a city escape and you can easily get there by train too if you don’t have a car. And today I’m taking it pretty easy, catching up on chores and cleaning before a very busy week ahead! Here’s some of the things I came across on the interwebs this week.

HAPPY WEEKEND LOVELIES! It’s been a minute since I shared another weekend reading roundup here on the blog so I’m excited to share one today. The past week has been a little bit of a whirlwind with NYFW being in full swing. Happy New Year, everyone! This is my first post of 2019 and a very special one to kick off the year. You might have seen on Instagram that Cathal Bear and I got engaged during our Christmas trip back home. I honestly still can’t believe I’m saying that because I’m STILL shocked nearly 10 days later. We’ll be together 9 years next week but I swear I didn’t see this coming for at least another year, maybe even two! I wanted to write down all of the things I could remember from that special day and thought I would share itĀ with all of you guys too. I can’t thank all of you enough forĀ your well wishes over the past couple of days. I feel so lucky to have readers who are so incredibly sweet and supportive. Also please brace yourself for an extreme number of exclamation points, I got a little too excited writing this one…

Guys, I cannot believe festive party season isĀ upon us! I’m literally still in November mode in my head but somehow it’s my last couple of days in New York before heading home for the Christmas break! There’s so many things that I’m looking forward to when I get there, but one of the main things is heading out with all of my friends in Galway. I feel like nights out over Christmas are one of the only occasions I have to get truly glammed up because people are pretty casual when they go out here in New York. Anyways, I’ve been doing a lot of browsing online over the past few days trying to find some festive things to wear and thought I would share them with you guys incase you’re on the hunt too! Warning: be prepared for a whole lot of sparkles and low cut things, it appears that’s all my eyes gravitate towards these days!
